Stainless Steel Dog Clipper Blade, Size-10

The buttercut dog clipper blade is made of premium-quality, high-carbon German steel, ensuring precise and clean cuts for superior results. With a Rockwell hardness of 75, the edges stay ultra-sharp for a longer period, providing lasting performance and durability. This blade is compatible with all type A5 detachable blade clippers and comes in size-10 with a 1/16-inch cut length.

To maintain the blade's effectiveness, it should be oiled at least once a day, ideally before each grooming session. When oiling the blades, a few drops of blade oil should be placed on the front and side of the cutter blades. Excess oil should be wiped off with a soft, dry cloth. While spray lubricants are good for coolant, they do not contain enough oil for proper lubrication.

For cleaning, the blades can be immersed in a shallow pan of clipper oil or blade cleaner while the clipper is running. After cleaning, the clipper should be turned off and the blades dried with a clean, dry cloth. If the blades still do not cut effectively, there may be hair trapped between the upper and lower blades. In this case, the blade should be removed from the clipper, and a drop of clipper oil should be placed where the upper and lower blades meet, as well as in the guide slot of the tension spring.
